If you don’t understand how a woman could both love her sister dearly and want to wring her neck at the same time, then you were probably an only child.

I loved your post…treasure your sisters…I lost mine to cancer in 2001 and I would give anything to have her bug me about something right now. ^j^

Ha! this got me straight away!
I have still not figured out why God made older sisters when the younger ones tend to hold them up more often than none…not always true, but my feelings as I hold mine up with ‘hands around throat’. Of course not entirely, but I try and put the thought out of my mind as quickly as it came…

ahaha!
maybe they just want to be babied
and delegate the role of being older sisters
🙂

Hahaha, that quote’s funny and true. But I’m glad my younger sisters are always sweet, so it never opened a room for me to get mad at them haha. And they are miles away in the province, so I miss them. We only see each other during vacation.
This series of sister-related posts makes me think more of them..hmmm..

Since I am an only child, I can only imagine. 😦
That’s okay…my friends can be my sisters! 🙂

some wish
they don’t have a sister
when they were young
but can’t thank God enough
when they’re older.
and yes friends
are sometimes the best sisters
🙂

So true! More so when we were young, but even now my closest sister sometimes drives me completely nuts. I don’t necessarily want to wring her neck, but giving her a good whap upside the head does cross my mind occasionally. 😉 Peace, Linda

ahaha
sometimes the older sister
is the baby one
🙂

Ha! So true.
Family is family and always will be, but at the same time, we can’t get in each other’s nerves!

and i wonder if there is a family
who’s sweet all through out their existence
🙂

Ha! Duels to the death when children.
09/29/2010 at 7:36 AM
LOL, you make me laugh
at the truth of it
but they sometimes grow up sweet
maybe got tired at dueling to death
🙂
09/29/2010 at 9:08 AM
Yes, one can only duel for so long. LOL.

I think this holds true for all siblings regardless of gender. LOL.
