If you don’t understand how a woman could both love her sister dearly and want to wring her neck at the same time, then you were probably an only child.

I loved your post…treasure your sisters…I lost mine to cancer in 2001 and I would give anything to have her bug me about something right now. ^j^

Ha! this got me straight away!

I have still not figured out why God made older sisters when the younger ones tend to hold them up more often than none…not always true, but my feelings as I hold mine up with ‘hands around throat’. Of course not entirely, but I try and put the thought out of my mind as quickly as it came…

Hahaha, that quote’s funny and true. But I’m glad my younger sisters are always sweet, so it never opened a room for me to get mad at them haha. And they are miles away in the province, so I miss them. We only see each other during vacation.
This series of sister-related posts makes me think more of them..hmmm..

  5. Since I am an only child, I can only imagine. 😦

That’s okay…my friends can be my sisters! 🙂

      some wish
      they don’t have a sister
      when they were young
      but can’t thank God enough
      when they’re older.
      and yes friends
      are sometimes the best sisters
      🙂

  6. So true! More so when we were young, but even now my closest sister sometimes drives me completely nuts. I don’t necessarily want to wring her neck, but giving her a good whap upside the head does cross my mind occasionally. 😉 Peace, Linda

    Ha! So true.
Family is family and always will be, but at the same time, we can’t get in each other’s nerves!

  8. Ha! Duels to the death when children.

  9. I think this holds true for all siblings regardless of gender. LOL.
