I wake up every morning at nine and grab for the morning paper. Then I look at the obituary page. If my name is not on it, I get up.

So glad you are still breathing!!! What would we do without you!
The sitter I had long ago for the girls used to say this quote! ha!

So glad I have reasons to breath
else I would have stopped breathing
at some stages of my life.
Now I dedicate each breathe to those I love
and mind you — they’re growing in numbers!
Thanks Deb so much just for being you.

That is why Benjamin Franklin made the most of every day!

Great quote, see you tomorrow 🙂

    Take care Alan

    • bendedspoon Says:

Yes he was thankful to be alive and make a difference! He never patented his inventions because he did it not for himself but to make people’s lives easier. Cool!

Thanks Alan and yes let’s all see each other while we still have the capacity to read the obituary — even just to say hello and thanks to Almighty!
      🙂

    lol 🙂

I guess mine wasn’t in there this morning.

Have a super, blessed day! Thankful for each day I get to share with friends and family.

    Grateful for his mercies,
    ann

And what could make my day super blessed?
It’s friends, family, faith and so many more things. So that leave me no excuses not to appreciate the daily super blessings ha!

Thank you Ann for being a blessing and yes our name wasn’t in the obituary — otherwise somebody would have break the news to us!
      🙂

Hope you and yours had a good turkey day. I was so full I could hardly breathe, but I was still alive!

  7. Dear Aunt Rea,
If I wake up every morning my name isn’t on the obituary page. This is very confusing for a dog.
    lickingly yours, LLLLL
    Max
    P.S. What’s an obituary page?

    • bendedspoon Says:

Glad to hear from you Max!
      Max it’s similar to pawbituary
where the dogs you left behind pawblish a notice that you have gone to heaven already. Sometimes it includes the pawprints that you left behind in their hearts. Now don’t worry about that — just appreciate each day that you’re still breathing and maybe try to create beautiful pawprints for others.
Love you Max — you’re my boWow dog!
      🙂
