And she will ensure that everyone eats their slice as well. A mothers sacrifice is daily and constant. God bless all mothers.

    Take care Alan.

I am a mother of 7 and I have always done that – same applied for stretching food for unexpected guests. It is about putting other before oneself.

I thought my mama didn’t like to eat much because she just took a small bite or not at all but now I realized — it’s all about love indeed. And it’s amazing too how that bite she didn’t took hook the children to her — the wonders of love.

  6. Rea, I LOVE this quote! I’ve posted it before on Facebook. It is so wonderful to be a mother, to give up the pie for the kids and others, even when we know we really do like pie. And they know it, too. 🙂 This is how they know how much we love them. Peace (or is that piece?), Linda

Oh, so true! Isn’t it amazing how being a mother allows us to make those decisions out of love and we aren’t even upset that we give things up for our family! 🙂 It makes us feel so good inside! 🙂

      yes moms are amazing!
how they put behind their needs to prioritize the hubby and kiddos — and sometimes it took years before they get what they want and it is still ok.sigh.
