A Faith Tale

12/23/2010

The Babe who will save...

I’m cindeRea waiting expectantly for the King at the stroke of midnight!

Nope I am not wearing  glass slippers but God’s grace!

I will celebrate His holy presence and praise Him for love like no other!

Oh my King you are coming to save me though once upon a time I thought I can make it on my own — my own agenda, my own strength, my own wit.

But lo and behold, my carriage of false security turned to pumpkin of broken dreams; my gown of pride turned to rag of shame; my horses of shallow happiness turned to mice of fear.

Truly I need You my Savior for a happy ending!

Merry Christmas — sons and daughters of the King!

See the magical castle ahead?

🙂

Deb if I can dream of prince charming who can possibly rescue me from the highest tower why not dream of a King who will undoubtedly save me from the deepest agony? I’m in love!

      Merry merry merry Christmas!
Give my hugs to your daughters!

You paint such beautiful pictures with your brush of ‘faith’! 🙂 Merry Christmas, ‘spoon’, to you and your loved ones…He’s almost here! 🙂

  5. Rea, I love this! Not a fairy tale, but a faith tale. Yes, I can see the castle of the King and His wonderous throne of grace! My son once asked me how he would find me in heaven, but before I could answer he said, “Oh wait, I know, you’ll be around the throne.” Peace and Merry Christmas, Linda
