Z is for Zizz

04/30/2011

ZIZZ is sparkle or vim.

ZIZZ is nap or sleep.

Looks like an opposing meaning to me but who am I to protest?

Got to accept it as is for I don’t want to lose the vim.

“Drinking from your soup bowl is unethical.”

“There is no such thing as green dog and the apple should be color red.”

“Don’t laugh too loud.”

“You have no honors? Why can’t you be like your brother?”

Most of us were raised to conform to man made standard.

Most of us follow the majority for fear of being left out.

By doing so we actually left out our own selves.

We lose the ZIZZ.Β Somebody else is running our lives.

Can you share an experience where you are stopped at what you are doing because it’s ‘not right’ and looking back you realized that there’s actually nothing wrong with it?

Isn’t it about time to claim ourselves back and live with vim and have a goodnight sleep because we honor who we are?

Isn’t it about time to live with ZIZZ?

    Thanks, Princess

I feel like I’ve lost a lot of zizz as well as some fizz. I think I ought to get some rest now πŸ™‚ I may have lost some fizz, but still He calls me His. Thankful that He makes the difference πŸ™‚

I thoroughly enjoyed the journey. Thank you for taking me along.

    Blessings,
    ann

Have your zizz my dear Ann. There are days when the body can’t cope with our enthusiasm to do so many things. He wants us to rest too and when we do it with Him — perfect reenergizer!
Thank you sooo much Ann for joining me! Huggs πŸ™‚

Those were wise words. Congratulations on going all the way from A-Z, and you did it so well, too.

    Love,

So fun to partake of your alphabet soup. Right now I am about to zzzz after a full day exploring Italian villages dating back to the 1300’s and with names from A to Z!

  4. Chatter Master Says:

Great job! I hope I didn’t ever take anyone’s zizz. I know my babies woke me up from some of my zizz’s, but I miss those days. πŸ™‚ Happy Sunday BendedSpoon! God bless!

  5. Debbie Says:

Yay sweet Rea! You did it, you did it! lalalalala! And you finished up with zizz, sparkle and vim.
Can I share a moment? Hmm. Lots of times, I didn’t let someone else stop me. But, I went ahead less confident and joyful, feeling I was wrong. 😦 So here’s to reclaiming all that He wants me to be and moving forward with zizz. God bless you and keep you zizzing!

Deb you don’t know how much it means when you cheered for me the entire alphabet. I feel like quitting on letter W and onwards but somehow I feel the need to finish what I started. This A to Z challenge is really special — because most have stories behind where I had fun with Him!

Thank you sooo much and I’m glad that you are reclaiming all His plans for you — you help us with ours too! Love and huggs πŸ™‚

  6. Arlee Bird Says:

Whatever the meaning of zizz I can use both.

Congratulations on making it through the alphabet and for contributing such wonderful posts!
