    Reminds me of a song…

“not to us but to Your name be the glory!”

    How very true!
I have been someone focusing on the wrong things recently so this hits in the right place, thank you so much! Missed you, hope all is well with you and the kiddos?

    Take care Alan.

Alan it’s so good to see you! When somebody admits that he focused on the wrong things the next move is going to be real good — to things that matter!

The kiddos and I are good. It’s mother’s day today. I got more hugs and kisses and enjoyed singing with them. Blessings to you and your family! 🙂

  3. Those were wise words. We need to do our doing and our giving with simplicity. 🙂

Thinking about the times that it made a difference to me that someone knew it was ME!!! ha! So thankful that now I can be okay, knowing He is behind it all and sees what I do for Him and others.
God bless you and all you give Him credit for!

    • bendedspoon Says:

Deb, sometimes the magic comes when the recognition finds its way back to you even when you no longer care who gets the credit. I believe that while God wants us to serve with humility He wants to see us smiling too — especially when we smile knowing that the credit is for Him. Hugggs to you 🙂

How timely! I mean, with the whole bin Laden thing.

  7. This is awesome! I do care that God gets the credit for all He’s done, but don’t really care if I get any credit for what I’ve done with His help. 🙂 Peace, Linda
