Passionate Nights

08/15/2011

Tonight

I go bare

Without inhibitions.

I trembled

As I surrendered

All that is in my heart.

Then you whispered

Anew

The depth of your love.

I soaked in the passion

I writhed

I arrived.

I grasped

That I am yours

My Lord.

For Jingle Poetry on Passionate Nights of Love

For you. Who changed your life?

Enter within me

Revive the love in my heart

Take me, I am Yours

*

For me. In total surrender.

Thank you Deb. And of course I’ll tell you the secret again — He made me write it. I thought of missing the challenge and so I go to bed — I go bare without inhibitions. I trembled as I surrendered all that is in my heart… πŸ™‚

  9. “Enter within me

Revive the love in my heart

    Take me, I am Yours”…

What a wonderful prayer! And what a wonderful post! I really liked this part:

    “Tonight

    I go bare

Without inhibitions.” The Lord encourages us to come boldly before His throne, and to cast all of our cares upon Him (go bare).

I also really liked this part:

    “I arrived.

    I grasped

    That I am yours

    My Lord.”

There are so many times when we fail to grasp…to arrive, but then there are those awesome moments when actually catch a glimpse of the significance of what it really means to be the Lord’s. πŸ™‚

Thank you for this beautiful post.

    Love,
    Theresa

Wowowee! You made it more meaningful Theresa! One of the reasons why I love everyone in here is because I am not only learning but I’m touched as well. Casting my cares upon Him πŸ™‚

  10. When we surrender it all… it all comes to us.
