Day 3: Stop Being A Victim
10/03/2011
I was pushed toward the darkness
But just because I was in the dark
I have to stay in the dark
But just because I see no light
I have to believe that there is no light
If the smallest seed
Can push through the ground
To live in the light,
So can I.
It’s Day 3 of Feeling Good! Β Whatever has befallen you, like being covered with a mop head, just shake it off and fly!
But before you take off please say this to yourself — Β “I refuse to be a victim. I am a victor!”
High heat, high pressure
Carbon atoms re-arranged
See how it shines now!
Thank you so much!Β My pleasure to pass the brilliance to ZQ’s Runaway Child.
I was pushed back and about to fall, but the LORD helped me.
– Psalm 118:13

Oh yes indeed. Just because we have been a victim doesn’t mean we have to remain as one. Well writ!!

This resonates with me – I also prefer to push to the light instead of remaining in a dark place not of my choosing! Thanks.

I guess that old Proverb “to a worm in horseradish, the whole world is horseradish.” …and thank you, for very nicely reminding us, that there is an exit and to follow our Source.

Hm, I am not religious, but your poem reminds me that somewhere in the Bible there is a lovely passage about a mustardseed…ah yes, I just looked it up. And, hence your “birds of the air”, cool.

π Yesterday after writing it I was hesitant to post it. And so I said, “Lord, I am including mop head in my post as there is no seed in the photo, okay?” The owlets are actually orphaned. They lost their mama owl and they tried to hide in the mop head. I would love to hold and hug them but I’m sure God will take care of them. I imagine them flying now and saying woot! π
