It’s so beautifully arranged on the plate – you know someone’s fingers have been all over it.

  1. I like to think that when someone took a lot of time arranging the food they did it with the addition of a very secret ingredient I use in all of my dishes: love.

When those fingers are filled with love I am grateful for the nurishment I receive. A nurishment that fills spaces deeper than any bit of food can fill.

Love is the best ingredient! A blessing is bestowed upon the food and it spill over to the one who will take it. Very much like God… 🙂

The kiddos and I are guilty of that when we prepare banana split, among others. But it taste really good specially if you sprinkle love all over.

So funny! And yet it has a good point. Use a Bended Spoon to put my food on the plate! 🙂

Aw sweet! Suddenly I see the sparkle in bended spoon! If we can only gather all together we’ll play a game using bended spoon. It will be fun!

  10. Maybe it’s just me, but that doesn’t make me want to eat fancy food at all! 😉 Peace, Linda

  11. Thank you for reminding us of this. what is one of hte first things that a great chef has to learn–a great meal is more than great taste. Of course, a great meal must taste good. A great meal involves most, if not all of our senses–sight, smell, sound, touch, as well as taste. A great meal should also awaken our senses of appreciation and thankfulness. Most truly great meals are not a solitary experience. They involve the people we love and the people that love us. Do we remember to say grace and thanks for all of these gifts at every meal?

    • bendedspoon Says:

Wow you just filled me up with that! Burp! A meal won’t be as delicious when eaten with the people you love than when you eat it alone.

Hmm let me think further if it’s cheesecake where I have to close my eyes 🙂

  12. Insightful… True and often forgotten…
