Peace Talk
01/31/2011
P-en your anger then throw the paper, not at him.
E-njoy your sleep so let go of your grievance, not him.
A-sk for forgiveness for being a mess, not because of him.
C-ome unload your heavy baggages, not on him.
E-xpress your prayer and be at peace, with Him.
For Jingle Poetry on Peace, Relaxation and Spirituality.
For me and my hubby. For my blog friends and their partners.
T-ake time to count from one to ten
A-nger still boiling?
L-ead yourself to talk to Him
K-eep the peace within
For a peaceful and blessed day!
🙂

Oh, I need to remember that…
02/01/2011 at 7:20 AM
Oh yes let’s remember HIM 🙂
02/01/2011 at 6:44 AM
I like these words. I have been learning to run to and not away from the one I love, so I can see the wisdom here.
Thanks for sharing this poem.
02/01/2011 at 7:18 AM
It’s challenging at times but how can we clamor for world peace if we can’t do it for two?
I’m running alongside with you on love and peace 😉
02/01/2011 at 6:41 AM
Truly peaceful..Soothes my soul. Thank you for sharing.
02/01/2011 at 7:10 AM
HIM is peaceful. Him In Me 🙂
02/01/2011 at 6:18 AM
Some excellent advice. Anger never solves a thing.
02/01/2011 at 6:48 AM
Prolonged anger robs us of the chance to love deeper. To love and peace!
🙂
02/01/2011 at 5:47 AM
“All we are saying,is give peace a chance”…remember?..you really brought us the grain of truth…
02/01/2011 at 6:46 AM
So yes. Each time we give peace a chance we give ourselves wonderful blessings beyond what we can hope for. Peace to you.

Wish I’d read this a little earlier…before I said a few things I regret! And so we move on…
02/01/2011 at 6:44 AM
Yes that’s it, we move on for peace. Things may not be undone but there is so much more that can be done. Have a peaceful day.

we are the enemy at times…an excellent reminder of where the answer is
Peace, hp
02/01/2011 at 6:41 AM
That makes it harder when the enemy is within but nothing is too hard for a tender heart; for Him.
Peace be with you too 🙂

Well done here. A little nugget of wisdom … and a well-written on.
These days, it was good to have the Bush reminder in your other post. At least we are not dealing with him anymore…
Happy Potluck, bendedspoon.

Wish you had posted this yesterday when I was feeling a touch of anger and did not pen it but rather flung the words.
01/31/2011 at 11:29 AM
It really is too hard to rein the tongue. I’m working on it and hoping that the day will come when I’d rather not open my mouth with matching blank expression!
Oh peace come 🙂
01/31/2011 at 11:05 AM
Wonderful! I love the repetition of not at him and the close with the capital Him. Great job. And TALK is a recipe for success. Happy Potluck.

As always, an enlightening post. Anger is the brother to sadness. Upside anger can show in depression. Living in peace is a challenge, but finding ways to handle our anger provides peace to the weary soul. Thanks for the Peace Talk.
01/31/2011 at 11:19 AM
So true. Living in anger is easier than living in peace but who wants easy when it’s so messy. Help please!
